Cell Phone Lot

Lambert-St. Louis International Airport is providing a Cell Phone Lot
for airport users who need to pick up passengers. This is a free waiting
zone for motorists, but they must remain with their vehicles at all times. Signs
are in place to direct motorists to the location as they approach both
terminals at Lambert. The Cell Phone Lot is one-half mile east of Cypress
on Lambert
International Boulevard. The
parking lot features 150 spaces and is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The Cell Phone Lot allows motorists to stay in
close proximity of the Main and East Terminals until their
arriving party is ready to be picked up. Passengers make contact with the
motorists by phone; they should only do this after they have claimed their
luggage. Motorists can then pull up to the arrivals curbs at either the Main or East Terminal. Drivers will
no longer have to continually loop around the airport if passengers don’t
arrive on time. Plus, the Cell Phone Lot will ease congestion along the
arrivals curbs while helping motorists better comply with current security
regulations. Motorists should know that the passenger pick up areas are
now for active loading only. If the arriving party is not outside the baggage
claim and waiting curbside, traffic officers can direct motorists to leave the
passenger pick up zone. This reduces congestion and helps clear the way for
other motorists who do see their passengers actively waiting curbside.
Check flight status on new Airline Flight Display Board
The
Lambert Cell Phone Lot features an Airline
Flight Display Board. Users can check the status of flights on the color LED
board (6.5 ft H x 16 ft W) that shows all incoming flights within 60
minutes of their scheduled arrival time. The arrival information is cycled
through at 12 flights per page. The board updates the status of each flight.
Even
if a flight is listed as “Landed” or “Arrived,” motorists are encouraged to
wait until their arriving party actually calls them before departing for the Main or East Terminals. The passenger pick up zones
are for active loading only. If passengers are not actively waiting outside for
a pickup, then traffic officers can direct motorists to leave the pick up zone
to help reduce congestion in the arrival roadways and pick up zones.

From I-170 Northbound take exit 7c to I-70 Westbound to exit 235c (Natural Bridge Road). Take a right. Drive past the Cypress intersection for
another 3/10 of a mile, the cell phone lot is on the left side of the road.
From I-170 Southbound take exit 7b
to I-70 Westbound to exit 235c (Natural Bridge Road).
Take a right. Drive past the Cypress
intersection for another 3/10 of a mile, the cell phone lot is on the left side
of the road.
From I-70 Eastbound take exit 235c
(Cypress Road).
Turn right on Cypress,
under I-70 to Lambert International Blvd.
Take a right. Drive 3/10 of a mile. The cell phone lot is on the left side of
the road.
From I-70 Westbound take exit 235c
(Natural Bridge Road). Turn right on Natural Bridge Road. Drive past the Cypress intersection for another 3/10 of a
mile, the cell phone lot is on the left side of the road
